When you lose 6-0, I guess you can do with a ‘new’ signing…

Taking away the initial heat of the moment reaction and looking objectively, it seemed pretty inevitable that this might happen at some point. However, given that Dorking are now staring down the barrel of relegation following a thumping at Barnet last night, it's not surprising that he was recalled at this moment.
He's put in a huge shift in every game for us, and I can't recall a particularly bad performance. He's welcome back anytime!
The timing is awful for many reasons. Mainly, in my opinion, as Nigel said in another thread, our midfield was starting to click, and to be honest I think Aaron was in the driving seat of that. I'm pretty sure we can't get anybody else in now, either, as the transfer window has closed for this season.
Marc White called their game a "f*****g demolition" yesterday and Aaron might well be the next step towards stopping that happening.
From our side of things, I'm not too sure where we go from here, to be honest. We need the rest of the squad to stick together well and rally together and I guesstimate that circa 11 points should be enough.
Nervy stuff for the next six games. #UpTheF*****gBoro

I’ll write the local paper headline now: ‘Spencer loses his Kuhl…’

Someone is eating humble pie, given the state of the "relationship" between player and club.
Dorking's results suggest their problems are more deep rooted than merely lacking a midfielder they were happy to ship out on loan 25 games ago.
It'll be interesting to see how things turn out. I wish Aaron well and hope to see him again.

The deadline for Registrations is 5PM on Thursday. Thanks. Any hope of playoffs revolves around the correct recruitment in the next four days. Most likely a short-term loan.

First reaction?? Rollocks!! Second reaction, well I suppose it was inevitable really, he is a Dorking player after all, and with them having just been smashed, and now in the deep do do's, they had to do something!!
Still a big blow to us though. Tuesday will be a big test and will give an idea of where we want to be!!
Thanks for your efforts Aaron, and you will be welcome back anytime!
COME ON YOU YELLOWWSSAA!!

Well this is gutting that’s got to be my first reaction. Easily player of the season for us and was helping us power through.
As others have said with him being in such good form for us and them being close to escaping relegation it was inevitable they would recall all and try to shore up the team best case scenario for us would of been Dorking being mid table and not really needing him.
Still say and have said Spencer should have looked to make his deal permanent but guessing it was all due to costs. Part of me hopes Dorking stay up and we can do a deal and get him in the summer.
But all in all thank you Aaron for everything you gave for the club and Spencer over to you we need a hard working replacement until the end of the season.

Reaction on hearing the news - FFS season over.
Reaction a few hours later - FFS season over and I hope Dorking go down, Marc White goes bust and has to sell the club to Dai Yongge.
Does anyone know if we were paying Kuhly and Hadys wages or even a percentage of them?
Loans next season need to be agreed for a specific period of time (ideally the season) without the option to recall so this doesn’t keep happening. I appreciate that comes with risk from our end if the loan doesn’t work out but it’s pointless loaning players if the parent club are just going to recall when either the player is doing well or they realise their own players are shit which in doing so kills our season.
Also does anyone know if Kuhly will be a free agent in the summer? I reckon there’s a strong chance he’d choose us over Dorking if we are playing at the same level.

Seconded - he lives in or around Farnborough I believe. While I'm sure he'll give 100% commitment to Dorking for the rest of the season, this smacks of a panic move done in the spur of the moment. Its their prerogative and maybe they have a well-thought out plan to base the rest of the team and tactics around him for the rest of the season (ha!), but if he has to travel to Dorking week in week out just to sit on the bench and watch them get relegated, how does that help player or club?

Just as things were coming together, this is a real kick in the rowlocks... Loved watching Aaron play and the midfield creativity that he brought to our team. Hopefully see him back some day...

Anyone else getting a bit tired though of saying ‘hope we see him back one day’? Pavey, Hady & Aaron all in the space of 6 months 😢

Pavey, Hady & Aaron all in the space of 6 months 😢 Thing is Mike, we live in hope - although I recall one CEO of mine once saying to the meeting that "Hope" is not a strategy! Maybe the strategy needs to change so we no longer have to live in hope!!
