Away in Essex on our first game of the season at Chelmo… It has all the hallmarks of a ‘narrow’ 3-0 defeat!

Interesting, both pick out Maidstone to be well up the division. They were a mess last season and I've not heard anything that says they're now improving.
Chelmo (already strong) have done their business wisely, as have we, so the opening day will be interesting. I do expect Yeovil and Torquay to be up there, but for different reasons - Torquay were unlucky to be relegated and have kept hold of their better players, while Yeovil are no longer in freefall as a local businessman and fan has taken over the reins and they're now being more than adequately funded. Eastbourne's punt to go full-time may work, but probably won't - I recall our short foray into being a full-time club where our best result was a 1-1 draw at, ahem, Eastbourne. That experiment didn't last long - full-time kids against experienced semi-pros proved to be a massive mismatch.

Maidstone are a tricky one to predict for sure, for that reason I went with the fact they have previous experience of success at this level and the bookies having them 4th favourites to decide where I’d put them. Eastbourne could go one of two ways, time will tell I guess. All I know for sure is it’s going to be a very exciting and interesting season!!

My predictions, from an earlier thread.
Don't see much to change, although the situation at Dover seems to be precarious, and they could fall off the cliff!!
Maidstone will be up there, due to regular huge crowds, and another plastic pitch!!
Seem to be quite a few Clubs throwing big money at it, and we must have found some more down the sofa again too, so the top ten places could be a right old ding dong!!
Aveley are the unknowns, and I place them there, purely because of that, but could cause a few surprises!!
Roll on Saturday
COME ON YOU YELLOWWSSAA!!

So two clubs in the National Division play on plastic, and two more in the North. Meanwhile, we'll be playing on plastic nine times this coming season. Ugh! Compulsory relegation for the lot of them, I reckon!
