Phil Martin : Just a point to remember for the future, these streamed matches at our level utilise the home club's video, which all clubs have to provide, not necessarily a professional filming service, so unless you're confident that their videographer is as top class as our Dom Lloyd, then you're gonna be disappointed.Sorry Phil, I have to disagree to a certain extent. The 'experiment' was promoted by the National League, and there was no mention of using the home club's video facilities in the lead up to the game. I wasn't making excuses for them Bob, I was merely pointing the fact out.
The League also made a charge of £9-50 to show the game and, as such, are surely obliged to ensure that the facility to show the game is acceptable, and works, in all respects. The promotion also quoted transmissions from 2-30 p.m., which did not happen until around 3-15 p.m.!, missing the first Farnborough goal, and again closed of around ten minutes before the end of the match, due to a serious player injury, and also missing the Chelmsford winning goal!! I'm sure Chelmsford viewers from afar are also hugely disappointed!! The stream was available to connect to from 2:30, and it started about 2:50 with UCFB adverts then went live when the teams took to the field of play. I was watching and saw all the match up until the 88th minute. Again just putting the facts out there.Strange also that every other game in National and NLN leagues worked perfectly!! We even started to watch A*****shot rather than lose the £9-50, with comms muted and listening to the Boro radio boys. Even that died toward the end of the game too!!, what a day!! Then I had a call to say our was streaming at last, and switched back, and appeared to be ok, If the Chelmsford transmission standards are not good enough to comply with the Leagues standards then they, the NL, could be considered in a failure of duty situation and, as such, purchasers should be entitled to a partial refund as they missed out on approximately one hour of transmissions that they paid for!!
The club will be contacting the league after the weekend and making them aware of the problems. Please be a little patient.
I point out that I have no reason to blame Chelmsford F.C. for the situation as they, like many of us, rely on volunteers to operate so much at our games. If the NL wish to continue with promoting games if future, then I suggest much closer attention be paid to the detail of what they are offering.

Ok Phil, thanks for the clarifications.
I have to say though, we did get transmission signal notice from around the advertised time of 2-30, but when we clicked on the red button link we got the 'subscription needed' message, and no pictures, as did several others.
We didn't get any actual transmission pictures until well after Mason's goal, so around ten minutes in!
So, in effect purchasers lost 30 minutes of transmission from 2.30 to 3.00, even if that was adverts or chat, around 10 minutes in to the game and similar at the end of the game, which included the added time for John's injury, so therefore around 50 minutes of 'paid for' subscription time not received! Well over the League's own refund rules of 30% qualification to allow a refund pass.! Pass for another game! not a cash refund!!
Hope you are able to make some headway with the League officials, and we await their findings with interest.
See you Monday.

Sorry Rich, my Grandson and I didn't. It was only your text that told me it was up and running, but that was ten minutes or so in, and we were suffering Aldershot, rather than lose £9!!! Not your fault, text signals aren't always immediate.
See you Monday.

Yes Bob, see you there.
Hoping to watch a game of football rather than "Hoofball"...
Please God, at Easter, can we have Reggie back and Johnny O fully recovered.
Amen.

*Update* I have been refunded £9.50 of the £19.00 I spent.
Still think it should be a total refund though, as I missed both the start and end of the match, for which they were totally at fault.

I emailed the address Dom quoted above after the game requesting a refund and have received a refund of £9.50 for having to purchase what they called a 'duplicate' subscription.
