Lovely to see the media shedding light on the lower league. And an excellent achievement for their striker. I'm sure some higher level clubs will be sniffing around

But you've just reminded me abput Walton's pitch; against strong opposition it's the worst 3G I've ever seen. Anti-football is the winner on bad 3G, as it is on poorly prepared grass pitches (Salisbury last season being a prime example of the latter). Either way, the result is dismal viewing for paying spectators.
If we do go artificial at our place then please let it not be the same as the terrible surfaces at Walton, Eastbourne and Havant & Waterlooville. From memory, the 3G surfaces at Tonbridge and Beaconsfield were far better, if not anywhere near as good as a well prepared grass pitch.
