Yes pretty comfortable win, against a pretty nifty Weymouth who, to their credit kept going and worked hard. Their back four, and keeper, looked decidedly dodgy though, and, quite frankly we should have put them to the sword by six or seven, and goal difference could still play a part at the end, as usual.
However it's another three points, and we roll on to Saturday. I can't see Braintree being quite so generous though, and next Tuesday will certainly be a marker for how far we have come/to go!!
Agree with the remarks re the PRE boys, great support as always, but the language and offensive remarks are way OTT, so lets tone it down a bit eh? and the 'we are going up' chants are also a 'little' bit presumptuous just yet as well.
Farnborough are magic is fine, just keep it going please!!
COME ON YOU YELLOWWSSAA!!

On the subject of the excitable's, its great to hear your support, but maybe tone down the insults and foul language as they spoil your effect... This is family friendly footy, not Hammers Vs The Dons and there are plenty of classy chants to use without calling the opposition fans/players/towns foul names... Agreed. A fair number of the chants tonight were far from classy, Some of them were pretty grim stuff. We employ professional stewards these days and they keep their heads down. Back when the stewards were fans too a stiff word would have been had. That's not who we are. I recall a great, rude and funny, chant, extolling the virtues of Kezie Ibe, sung to the tune of Winter Wonderland:- There's only one Kezie Ibe, One Kezie Ibe He's the name of a site that sells second hand shite Walking in an Ibe wonderlandSo, guys, what can you come up with that rises way above the dull negative crap I heard tonight?

I think the revolving door policy of the earlier Spencer years prevented any player songs from being sung as no sooner had one been made up then they disappeared!.. At least there’s some longevity in the squad for them to happen now.
Aside from the player chants I also miss the Yogi Bear song as well!
