A year ago, we were losing our mojo after a great start to the season. We played at home to Chesham on 8th February and won 1-0. Att: 362.
The starting line-up that night:-
Jack Turner Frankie Sutherland John Oyenuga Jack Ball Richard Orlu Mitch Brundle Michael Fernandes Sam Deering Mitchell Parker Paul Hodges Reggie Young
Would any of Sutherland, Orlu, Brundle, Deering, Parker or Hodges make our starting eleven today? None of them, in my view, except perhaps Sam if he was being played in his best position.
Which just shows how football is ruthless. The players I've listed have loads of talent between them and in seasons gone by would have been amongst the best in our line-up.
We've moved on a lot in a very short time.

Just shows the positive direction the club is moving in.
Other than Jack getting a deserved contract extension by churning out performances week in, week out, John re-signing, Ball remaining on from last season and Reggie being the excellent winger he is, all of the others have moved on.
The club has had a tumultuous time since and before 2007, but now, we are on the up, and that is to the credit of everybody involved in the main club as well as FaST that has worked day in, day out to bring out the best in the club to ensure that the fans, players and staff get the best possible experience.
What happens with regards to the ownership or the pitch remains to be seen, but the future is exciting.
