How likely is it that the Wrexham game will be on TV? I know they prioritise the games where the lower league team is at home, so is there any likelihood that it will be on TV?
I know fans won't have much say in it, but looking at the Emirates FA Cup Twitter account a lot of the replies to them asking "What tie are you most looking forward to?", the overwhelming majority is Wrexham v Farnborough!
The ideal one for fans is a Saturday or Sunday game. Monday is a bit trickier. It won't be on the Friday evening as England are playing. A tricky one for the schedulers no doubt, there's some good sounding ties there!

There are a fair few of us hoping it will be moved to a Sunday game as a lot of us can’t make it if it were to be on the Saturday!
Regarding being on TV, I would of said yeah it would of been but for the fact Wrexham have already been given a TV game in the games against both Blyth and Oldham. Oldham game shouldn’t of been on TV as we’re many other clubs like Alvchurch who deserved some of the TV money. I’d love it to be on TV but would they really give them 3 TV games in a row!?

There were 5 live matches shown for the 1st Round, so expect similar for the next round. The Charlton match was also shown but only outside the UK.
For the 2nd Round there are a few in contention as non league hosting league
Ebbsfleet United v Fleetwood Town King's Lynn Town v Stevenage
Potential non-league v league
Weymouth or AFC Wimbledon v Chesterfield Woking or Oxford United v Exeter City Curzon Ashton or Cambridge United v Grimsby Town
Forest Green Rovers v Alvechurch - Lowest side still in
I'd expect us to be in with a shout, if only due to the media w*nkfest surrounding Wrexham at the moment. The media were right up their backside for the draw too so wouldn't be surprised if they took it.
Extra £50k for each side on TV for last round so at least that again. Gate money will be decent too. Over 9K v Oldham at the weekend and expect similar for our match.

I think we’re in with a good shout of the, I could do with it being Sunday or Monday as I can’t do the Saturday as I have an evening thing.
If they charge £15 a ticket and get another 9.5 thousand crowd and the gate is split 50/50 as I thought it was then that’s £71k alone plus the money if we’re chosen plus the cash from the last round so all in all it’s much needed cash for the club, let’s just hope they put it in to the playing squad.

I expect any shown won't be on the main BBC1/ITV channels too as they will be balls deep in the World Cup by then. Over the 2nd Round weekend:
25 November, 10:00: Wales v Iran - BBC 25 November, 13:00: Qatar v Senegal - BBC 25 November, 16:00: Netherlands v Ecuador - ITV 25 November, 19:00: England v USA - ITV 26 November, 10:00: Tunisia v Australia - BBC 26 November, 13:00: Poland v Saudi Arabia - ITV 26 November, 16:00: France v Denmark - ITV 26 November, 19:00: Argentina v Mexico - ITV 27 November, 10:00: Japan v Costa Rica - ITV 27 November, 13:00: Belgium v Morocco - BBC 27 November, 16:00: Croatia v Canada - BBC 27 November, 19:00: Spain v Germany - BBC

Sorry, but those calculations are way off the mark. For Wrexham's 1st Round tie with Oldham the admission prices were £12 adults and £7 concessions. Strip out the VAT and that becomes £10 and £5.83. Assuming a mix of 20% concessions and 80% adults, Sunday's gate of 9,113 would have delivered gross revenue of £83,530. Wrexham's expenses for staging the tie, Oldham's expenses getting to the game and the costs of the four officials then need to be deducted from this figure. Let's say £15,000 (I'm assuming policing costs will be significant). That would leave £68,530, so just over £34,000 for each club.

I want to play Nottingham Forest now... seeing as that's Spencer's team, according to his interview anyway.

Don't let your Dad hear that! How is he these days anyway?
Thought about him when we took those coaches to Sutton and remembered all the good times we had.
Hope we can meet up when we visit Oxford City?
