Unsurprisingly, we are not on TV. But here are the televised fixtures for the First Round:
Friday 4th November: Hereford v Portsmouth Saturday 5th November: South Shields v Forest Green Sunday 6th November: Wrexham v Oldham and Torquay v Derby Monday 7th November: Bracknell v Ipswich
Could see some surprising results, considering as fan support helps the players massively, and a lot of them aren't able to get there on the train!

Even if the strikes on the 3rd, 5th and 7th go ahead trains will run for three of those games - on the Friday and Sunday.
So heartening for those plucky little underdogs Wrexham to get a much needed windfall of TV money. That's the magic of the cup!

Wrexham have replaced Salford City in the BBC's hearts this season!! It will be alright until they get promotion to the EFL, then they will be dumped ala Salford!!
It's not as if Wrexham are skint are they??

Wrexham a joke pick..simply picked due to their Hollywood owners..
Plenty of other clubs could have benefitted from that tv money.

Bracknell are charging £25 for a ticket for there game due to increased costs. They get £50k for the tie being live.
They have said that they have to pay for Ipswich to have an overnight stay, which sounds complete balderdash.
Leave Ipswich at 1.30pm, arrive about 4.30pm- 5pm. Game finished at 9.45 latest, back on coach at 10.30pm. Arrive in Ipswich at 1.30am.
They would do this for a league game, so I thin k they maybe taking the Michael.

Arrive back in Ipswich at 1.30a.m.?? Perish the thought Mark!! Those poor hard done by Pro's can't handle that sort of thing!! They are rather delicate you know!
Non League boys regularly travel to Truro or Merthyr or the wilds of Gateshead for an evening game, get home at 1 maybe 2 a.m. little bit of kip and up for work at 5.30/6.00 sometimes!! Sleep on the coach if your lucky! Overnight stays?? pish.
They are probably charging it because the F.A. competition rules allow them to do it, and it gets charged to the match account returns to the F A anyway.
Good luck Bracknell, enjoy your pay day, and I hope you make them suffer!! No disrespect, but Sandhurst will be a real eye opener for them!!
Welcome to the real world Ipswich!!

Can't see it being played at Sandhurst Bob. Surely they will switch it to a bigger venue

I think FA rules don't allow switching any more, so it will be a tight squeeze for them, and hence the £25 ticket price!!
Might make Ipswich squirm a bit!!

Sandhurst's ground has benefited from £1M+ investment. It's no longer just a boggy field next to the railway with few facilities (but it's not exactly Cherrywood either, squillions more money would be needed to achieve what we have). I doubt if Ipswich will squirm either way, it's not as if they'll be playing in an intimidating environment. Far from it. But, it's the Cup ....
