Took a look on the Worthing site earlier, and the preview of our game on Saturday.
Loads of facts about our 'poor' season, and a cursory mention of the beating of Swindon last weekend, and Spencer's referee rant, plus we, apparently, played Cove Rangers last night? Long way for them to come for a Tuesday night!!
I think the Eastbourne result must have hurt a little bit!!, and we seem to be being compared to them!
All a bit BBB to me and would certainly be worth Spencer putting a few copies under the players noses before the game, not as if any geeing up was needed at all!!
COME ON YOU YELLOWWSSAA!!

Do you have link Bob? I cannot find a match preview anywhere on their official site or Twitter feed.

That's a very insightful read from the POV of either fan. I think that they have only looked at stats alone. They've either ignored or not noticed the fact that we have given sides like Ebbsfleet, Bath and Havant a good run for their money and have been unfortunate it not getting the rub of the green.
Their fans could well be in for a big surprise. By no means am I overestimating the challenge; it will be a big game. But I am intrigued to see how it will turn out.

Must be reading our site, as they have now deleted the 'Cove Rangers' part from the report to just read Cove!! Tut Tut!!

If they are reading our site I hope they know we are now called Farnborough and not Farnborough Town.

Let's hope we can master the "fake grass" scenario too. Always feel the home side that have "fake grass" have an advantage..
Good luck to the lads and fans going to the south coast

We'll have no problems if it's decent fake grass. See Beaconsfield last season for details, where I totally forgot we weren't playing on grass. But if it's like a Walton, then gawd save us (waving hello to the dire plastic pitch at QPR 30+ years ago).
Looking at YouTube videos, Worthing's pitch looks like a Hendon, a weirdly unnatural dark green and lots of bits of old tyres being kicked up. So, not the greatest surface, but definitely playable. Far better than attempting to play in the bog at Kings Langley.

Will the match be broadcast by the radio team tomorrow as I can’t get down to watch, and when I tried to log on for the Swindon game found it wasn’t being broadcast

Not sure what's happened to ours, but I note from the Worthing site that they are match reporting on rebelyell.com.
Not sure if its registration or anything so I guess its tune in and find out!

Sorry that's rebelyell.live. It's through Mixr that we used to use.
