Good stuff.
As, either Spencer will remember, or he'll soon find out, National South level is about building a squad for the level and then managing them to success (or failure).
It's completely different to Step 3, where players come and go to such an extent that many clubs, including Farnborough, would struggle to submit pen pictures to the oppo for inclusion in their matchday programme (yep, a dated reference, but you get the idea).
The days of selecting from an ever-changing and seemingly limitless chocolate box are over, well unless Spencer fancies a one-year stay before falling backwards.

Excellent news have loved watching him bang in the goals since he joined, now to tie down some of the others. Conference south is going to be a different kettle of fish to last season.

Looking at the squad assembled at the start of last season it was good enough then to be competitive in the NLS and not just relegation fodder. Holding on to most of the squad that finished the season, with the chance to gel over the summer/ pre-season and carry on playing with each other with greater understanding would be a good move.
Most of the squad are proven at the level already and I’m pretty sure stepping back up to it would not be problematic for any of them.

Great to get a full-on striker signed up already! Hodgey, Sam, Ricky, Johnny O and Jack next please.
And Reggie, if he hasn't signed already...
