Not that I want to win promotion by default, it should be done on the pitch. Surely other clubs who have been denied a play off place due to there ground should be looking at Hayes and yeading. To play in the southern league you have to hold 1950 which they must have been given a safety certificate by Hillingdon Council to be able to declare that to the southern league. Now Hillingdon Council are saying they can only have 1600. Why the change

I was wondering this too. What would hypothetically happen if Hayes do fail a ground capacity check if they do win the final? Would the Conference South spot go to the next team in the league? Or the playoff runner-up if they win? Both of those are us anyway, as it happens. I was just wondering what would happen as it seems like a real possibility right now! It seems, from an outsider's perspective of Hayes' ground, that the can is being kicked further down the road until they can no longer ignore it.
That being said, I agree with Ginger. I want promotion to be decided on the pitch.

It was shut temporarily after the initial opening but then passed Grade B which means they can play conf south

Seems they are also worried about this on their fans forum and have asked if the league say it passes but Hillingdon council restrict it still to 1,950 as it currently is if they could be denied entry.

So who decides the League, Health and Safety, or the Council?

So who decides the League, Health and Safety, or the Council? You would think they would work in conjunction with each other? I imagine they do. I'd be quite surprised if they don't.
