So they finally made it Nigel!. Been a long time getting back to the top, so lets hope they do well.
Wealdstone promoted also, but not sure how they got past ground grading?? Maybe they get a season to get it up to spec!!
Not heard of any Club being returned to whence they came for not getting the standard though!!

Lynn have been a sleeping giant for long enough and have a large catchment area to draw on with little competition apart from Norwich. The nearest League club is Peterborough, but the number who travel there from Lynn probably can be counted in single figures - Cambridgeshire is a foreign country! It would be similar to the number of people from Farnborough choosing to follow Wycombe Wanderers.
On the pitch Ian Culverhouse has built a fine squad comprised of hungry players from East Anglia who didn't quite make it at Norwich, Cambridge United etc. That said, I reckon he'll need 5 quality additions to be competitive at the higher level.
Off the pitch, The Walks is a great old school ground that can have a great atmosphere, but it needs a lot of money to bring it up to today's standards. Only two sides are covered, there's a severe lack of turnstiles and a layout that makes segregation difficult without delivering a very poor experience for visiting fans.
But there's money somewhere as the owner* has paid for the pitch to be completely relaid (again) this summer, this time with much improved drainage, although I remain to be convinced it will be a good investment as the ground is very low lying and a water table is a water table.
My last visit to Lynn was for the York game - over 4,000 were in that day with plenty of room for more - so the demand is there if they do well. I hope they do. It'll be a huge adventure for them whatever happens.
*Before buying King's Lynn their owner was also in the market to buy Farnborough a few years ago, but it came to nought.
