Feelings are running high in some quarters it would appear.
Pointedly, Bracknell are playing a friendly at Larges Lane against Didcot tomorrow.

We're, erm, off.
This may turn onto a fiasco. Given the Government's view that COVID19 is taking a break over Christmas the chances are more stringent restrictions will be introduced from mid-January.
I'm of the opinion that you play when you can provided the oppo are willing to play too, which is the approach being taken by several feeder leagues in the south. Play as many games as practicable in the circumstances and review where we've got to later in the winter.
As it's been decided this is not going to happen at Steps 3/4, players will now have a gap of at least seven weeks between games. It's one thing for players to regain their match fitness on warm summer evenings, quite another on freezing cold nights. A four week gap between games in late autumn would have been manageable, but a seven+ week gap extending into midwinter? Not so much.

Does that make our friendly on Tuesday superfluous? although it will good for training purposes I suppose!
That would also make our first 'proper' game, Truro away on the 19th!! They will have had three or four full games whilst we will have had a few training sessions. Great!
You couldn't make it up could you?

Could be a good thing having an exodus - might bring us some good fortune when we do finally restart.
