Braintree winning the NLS play off spot would probably move Oxford North with Kidderminster, however I feel Maidstone have enough to secure that place, which would switch it back to Oxford or Braintree, and I suspect Oxford will go, purely on motorway connections. There is also a dependance on Merthyr possibly winng a play off.
So we could need two more from the chasing pack, or three?
By choice I would take Salisbury and Horsham, purely for accessability!!, but what happens with the SL Central clubs?
The top five are all definite midland clubs, by definition central!, so where do they fit in?
I seem to remember some form of play off between the Leagues to gain a place higher, before.
I'm sure Mark Hardy can give us the formal answers.
My answer would be that they are unlikely to move clubs that are already in the league and would preferably move promoted or relegated clubs to the level and not to a specific division.
Must remember now, that you are promoted / relegated to a level and not a division.
Oxford always preferred north anyway as they didn't have to worry about the M25.
