So I will be cheering St Albans on tonight from my sofa.
Looking at the last five meetings St Albans have won 3 and drawn 2 against Hampton, and St Albans have won the last 3 home games against Hampton.

Well we go into the final day with an outside chance.
Our aim is simple. Beat Weymouth.
Then it's down to Maidstone who can still achieve the top three. So they will be fighting hard against Hampton.
Finally,Bath need to hold Aveley to a draw.
If's buts and maybes but not impossible.

If at the start of the season we were told we'd go into the final game with a sniff of a playoff place I'm sure we'd all have taken that and shows its been a pretty good season!

Do Bath have anything to play for? i.e. is there any advantage to finishing 6th over 7th?

Their also too clear on GD to worry about Aveley and HRB overtaking them.

6th or 7th can't get home advantage unless they are playing each other, highly unlikely, in which case 6th would be the home team!!
Chelmsford, Worthing, Braintree will be battling for place two, though with Braintree struggling on GD. Maidstone could also get equal points but GD is far inferior, although a win over H&R with Worthing or Braintree dropping points, would give them home advantage, so expect them to go flat out!!
Us and Avely both NEED to win to be in with any sort of a shout.
Best outcome..we win, Aveley and Hampton both draw or worse!!
As the man once said...LET THE MAYHEM BEGIN!!!!!!!
Also using Brian Blewetts words.... The Door Is Ajar!! (The boys in the Charles Mortimore stand will understand)
COME ON YOU YELLOWWSSAA!!

IT'S GETTING LATE, AND MY BRAIN IS HURTING NOW WITH ALL THESE POSSIBLE PERMUTATIONS!!
Sorry, Hampton need to lose at Maidstone, and Aveley need to drop points at home to Bath, to give us a chance!!
Saturday will be a l o n g day!!
Time for bed, to stop my head spinning!!

HRB are only a point behind so could overtake them if Bath draw and HRB win. Hoping that Bath really want that 6th spot (over 7th) and don't make it easy for Aveley.
