A stark contrast to previous seasons. We have broken the 1,000 mark five times this season, when we only did it once last season.
Average attendance at home this season: 893 Last season: 602 21/22: 502 20/21 (COVID season): 356 19/20: 299 18/19: 326
Our lowest attendance this season was 248 at home to Wingate in the cup. A few years ago that would have been a cracking Saturday attendance. In the league it was 574, which again, would've been unheard of.
So we're doing something right. I'm confident we can crack 1K more times next season. And please, lads that make most of the noise, please make it behind the goal so it sounds and looks better!

That won’t happen until terracing is installed behind the PRE goal, and down the MRE it’s too open and everyone’s far too spread out to sustain any real atmosphere. The attendance figures are really positive and hopefully will keep growing!

A combination of us playing good football to watch and also some bigger clubs bringing a decent following with them have helped boost our attendances So long as we keep playing the way we do then hopefully the upturn in attendances year on year will continue.
It also helps having a (relatively) settled squad for fans to get to know and get behind rather than the revolving door of yore that turned people away as you did not know who would be playing but we’re pretty sure it would be a poor watch!
