Worst possible scenario we could've had and it's out of our hands going to the final day.
However:
It's only a two goal swing that we need to get into the playoffs over HRB, along with Aveley dropping points.
Tough, but not unlikely or impossible, and certainly more probable scenarios than we have had going into the final day in the past.
HUGE PUSH BOYS
UP THE F*****G BOROOOOOOOOO

Just remembered, HRB still have their game in hand to play, our one hope is that they lose that!

As much as I hate to admit it I think the dream is over, having to now hope Maidstone and bath who are both guaranteed playoffs still play for something.
Today’s performance was hard to watch it was terrible I’m sorry to say but I have absolutely no idea what Spencer sees in Matthews-Lewis this level seems too high for him.
Thursday looks like it took its toll on us.
Still a great season overall and something to build on next year but please Spencer grab a striker in the summer who knows where the net is and isn’t afraid to shoot.

Shame to end this way, I agree today was too soon after Thursdays match. Steve King was watching as well.

Lack of a clinical striker has cost us, again. I said at the start of the season we needed to be better equipped in front of goal otherwise we would miss out again and have unfortunately been proved correct. I’d like to hope we won’t repeat the same mistake 3 seasons in a row, but I wouldn’t bet on it tbh. All I can say about today’s performance and the dream not making it to the final day is that I am absolutely f*****g gutted.

I am gutted although I would say what a thrilling end to the season we gave it.
Again it’s one of those where you sit and think if we had found this form early enough in the season what could we have done..
Well done to the players and the management team.

We can still make it, IF Hampton lose to St Albans on Tuesday.
If they lose, we would need a win + two goal swing in our favour (if they lose it would be less) and Aveley to drop points.
It's not over until it's over. All eyes on Tuesday.
But if they do win on Tuesday, then I'll point to this result.
If we play our hearts out and play well, then there's no shame in defeat and/or missing out on something in my opinion.
But for it to end like that is a shame, if that's how it is to end.

Just to add salt to my gaping wound…
Connor Hall scored twice today for Brackley against Chester.
Hady Ghandour didn’t even make Aldershot's bench.
Alfie Pavey didn’t even make Wokings bench.
