There were three gentlemen in Black and green tracksuit tops, not very subtle!!, sitting a few seats away from me in the stand. Pretty obvious, if not flashy!! I noticed Paul Sampson letting them through the gate to the Charlie Mortimore stand from pitch side, which might suggest their visit was known to our officials.

My thoughts on last night, if that's the 2nd best team currently in the conference south, then we won't need much added to the squad to be up there next year. The signings we made early season didn't work the squad now is defending much better and once we click up top we could be on the brink of good things. Hady reminds me of Simon Read the way he shapes his body when striking at goal, Aldershot have a ready made replacement for Stokes. Unfortunately the tackle from winfield caused more damage than first thought, hopefully fit for Saturday. Spencers interview said we have one more coming in hopefully its the right wing back we have been craving all season. Now the big one Saturday I thought we gave them a run for there money at huish Park and we are a better side now than then. Remember they’d just gone toe to toe with Yeovil on Saturday and won, so that may have had an effect on their performance last night. I agree though we are not a million miles off but the issue with that is a lot of the key members of the squad are on loan. Where would we be without Hady, Aaron, Taylor, Edon!?

The 3 gentlemen in black and green tracksuit tops were part of Chelmsford's backroom staff and asked where they could watch the match from.

Strange choice of colours when Chelmsford play in maroon and white!! Hardly corporate is it?
Bet they got some odd looks from Yeovil last Saturday too.

Good point that against a very good side in Chelmsford. Battled hard and matched them, but they were very quick down the flanks. Almost nicked it in the dying minutes when Harvey chased down a ball in a tussle with the keeper, laid it back to Hish but hesitancy and a good block by the defender meant a chance missed. Keeper also very lucky to still be on the pitch from what looked like a snatch back of the ball from outside the penalty area!! Lino and Ref looked at each other....nothing!! Small margins, as someone once said!!On to Saturday, and Yeovil!!!! at home. Wonder what their trio of Yeovil Management made of it, sitting in the stand! COME ON YOU YELLOWWSSAA!! Not a red card offence, as the ball was on the line. I was just walking back to Chairmans Mound. Goalkeeper is only red carded for handball outside the area if he is denying an opposition player. Like Nick Pope against Liverpool.

As we commented at the time, the lino was right in front of it yet did not even bother to call the ref's attention to it, who from his position would most likely not have been able to see/ tell as the goalie's back was to him. Problem is more with the lino than the ref on this one.

Happy to take a draw, especially after their goal scorer subsequently hit the bar from 4 yards... I know I'm not alone in thinking this, but what is the real situation with Hish...? In Spencer's post game interview on Saturday he gave the impression that Hish is far from fit and would be given all the help necessary to find his form. Then he's on the team sheet tonight and on at half-time ahead of Bradbury... Was that a case of the least injured player being used first? Whatever it was, I'm afraid that Hish failed again to shine tonight and really should have buried his best chance. Jury still out IMHO. Looking forward to Saturday! My take on Spencer's comments was that he wasn't referring to/just referring to fitness. I can't remember his exact words but it sounded like he had some other issues to resolve, which were impact his performances and fitness.
