Good point that against a very good side in Chelmsford. Battled hard and matched them, but they were very quick down the flanks.
Almost nicked it in the dying minutes when Harvey chased down a ball in a tussle with the keeper, laid it back to Hish but hesitancy and a good block by the defender meant a chance missed.
Keeper also very lucky to still be on the pitch from what looked like a snatch back of the ball from outside the penalty area!! Lino and Ref looked at each other....nothing!! Small margins, as someone once said!!
On to Saturday, and Yeovil!!!! at home. Wonder what their trio of Yeovil Management made of it, sitting in the stand!
COME ON YOU YELLOWWSSAA!!

Great game to watch. Mostly played on the ground. One of Jack's long balls lead to our goal. My MOM was Edon Pruti. I thought he and CJ were awesome at the back. Poor old CJ was limping badly at the end - hope he's OK for Saturday.

A good first half with JT making a great save turning a shot onto the post then setting up Hady to score with a great finish. Then they scored with a free header from a corner.Luckily they missed a sitter from 5 yards. Awful in the second half we just couldn't keep the ball.To be fair we had a few players missing.Hope Hady recovers because he looked really lively before going off at half time.

Happy to take a draw, especially after their goal scorer subsequently hit the bar from 4 yards...
I know I'm not alone in thinking this, but what is the real situation with Hish...? In Spencer's post game interview on Saturday he gave the impression that Hish is far from fit and would be given all the help necessary to find his form. Then he's on the team sheet tonight and on at half-time ahead of Bradbury... Was that a case of the least injured player being used first?
Whatever it was, I'm afraid that Hish failed again to shine tonight and really should have buried his best chance. Jury still out IMHO.
Looking forward to Saturday!

Whatever it was, I'm afraid that Hish failed again to shine tonight and really should have buried his best chance. Jury still out IMHO. Looking forward to Saturday! I think it’s clear he’s not fully fit, happy to be patient with Hish though as we all know what he can do. The only way to get fit to play, is by playing. No amount of training will cut it. Harvey being the last on made sense to me as if we were going to win tonight it was going to be by way of counter attacking. My question is did Hady have a knock and that’s why he came off? Or was it always the plan for him and Hish to do a half each perhaps with them both starting Saturday in mind!? Overall it was a decent point and performance against a very good and in form side. Yes Hady aside we lacked that cutting edge up top, but we should definitely be pleased with a hard earned point. The attendance was a bit underwhelming this evening and the atmosphere was really disappointing. Quietest it’s been all season in a match where good support from the crowd might have made the difference in pushing us over the line in the pursuit of a winning goal. Barely anyone bothered to clap the players afterwards either which I thought was out of order given the really positive result and how well we’ve done over the last 4 matches. Hopefully our support will be much improved and the decibel level coming out of the PRE will be a lot higher on Saturday, it will need to be as the boys will need our support with Yeovil in town and the minimum 500 supporters they will be bringing! Roll on Saturday!!!

Roll on Saturday!!! Agree about the crowd, was pretty pathetic really. Smallest crowd for a while. Fair weather fans staying away. What for? Blackburn v Newcastle in the FA Cup? It was a bit chilly? Because haven't won for five minutes and we were playing 2nd? Thought we paid them too much respect really, seemed frightened at times but generally defended well and tried to play football. Jordan and Aaron were excellent, CJ, Guy and Pruti pretty solid. You think we definitely missed Reggie, I'm surprised they didn't exploit their left a lot more. They were well drilled, disciplined in their shape, and passed it very well, always had space but in and around the area they were pretty poor. No end product. Gifted them the equaliser. Yeovil will be incredibly tough. Let's hope the crowd turns up again

I got the impression Hady came off injured - he spent a fair few minutes at the dugouts getting treatment in the first half to his face. Hope it was tactical though purely as we will need him Saturday!

No-one has mentioned either a fluke or one of the finest goalkeeping assists I've ever seen. Yep, Jack kicked the ball upfield, but he kicked the ball with real pace and, unwittingly or not, put a fade on it that, too late, Chelmsford's defenders realised they couldn't intercept. A great first touch from Hady Ghandour took him beyond their reach and he smartly swerved round the 'keeper before rolling the ball into the net. Route one? Yes. But a very fine Route One move that was worth the admission price on its own. Classy.

And, to add, I love how Spencer has tried to bamboozle the Yeovil management team watching tonight (yes, they were at the game) by playing Selim at right wingback. Little do they know ...

There were three gentlemen in Black and green tracksuit tops, not very subtle!!, sitting a few seats away from me in the stand. Pretty obvious, if not flashy!!

My thoughts on last night, if that's the 2nd best team currently in the conference south, then we won't need much added to the squad to be up there next year. The signings we made early season didn't work the squad now is defending much better and once we click up top we could be on the brink of good things. Hady reminds me of Simon Read the way he shapes his body when striking at goal, Aldershot have a ready made replacement for Stokes. Unfortunately the tackle from winfield caused more damage than first thought, hopefully fit for Saturday. Spencers interview said we have one more coming in hopefully its the right wing back we have been craving all season. Now the big one Saturday I thought we gave them a run for there money at huish Park and we are a better side now than then.
