Just leaving it till the day it stops raining after a week of rain, just before we leave for a weekend at the seaside. Brilliant As annoying as it is I’m glad they gave it every chance. There was no rain overnight in Weston so there was a slim chance it might have been playable. There is nothing more irritating than calling a match off early then it ending up being playable come 3pm. Had I left before the postponement announcement was made then I’d be fuming. I doubt anyone sensible had already left at 9am this morning though, so I’m fine with how Weston handled it.

At least they didn't leave until an hour before like some clubs!! Thank you Weston, well done. Only annoying thing is, we have another Tuesday night shuttle to contend with!

Booked B&B to stay in WSM. Non refundable. Sun is shining, dry roads, if they'd have given it a few more it would have been on. There's leaving it too late and doing it too early. Fair enough with forecast further rain or when there's frozen pitches and minus 0 temperatures but when it's forecast to be fine and it's drying up I think it's done at the wrong time personally.

That is undoubtedly very annoying for you but surely it’s better to call it before we all leave. Imagine how fuming we’d all be if we’d travelled and it was called off at 2pm as we were parking up. To be fair it’s not Weston that called it off, it was the local official and we all know that sometimes their decision can just come down to what side of the bed they got out of!

Just frustrating as drove past a rugby match on way in. Feel like if there's enough surface water in the morning it would have been the same the night before. Or even several days before. Anyway, not sure what the fuss is about WSM. Reminded me of Farnborough ha ha
