I believe he also worked under Neil Baker when they were at Slough. Seems like a good signing.

Nothing from the club but…
Blimey, give em a chance, it was only announced on Farnham's Twitter this afternoon!!
There is paperwork to sort and registrations etc to be completed! I'm sure we will be told in good time!
This Social media lark can be dangerous at times. Someone only has to break wind loudly and it's on twitter/farcebook/you tube!! There aren't any secrets anymore!!
Whatever, when/if it happens, welcome back Guy.

I only posted to let those that don’t use Twitter know that according to Farnham, Hollis had left and was joining us, but that so far nothing official had been announced from the club (us). I was only trying to be helpful to supporters not on social media, I was not criticising our clubs social media team. If anything it highlights a certain amateurishness on Farnhams part, as we are used to clubs agreeing a time to release news of player arrivals/departures in sync with each other.

Please remember, we are all volunteers and many have full time jobs, even Dom who manages our social media. The club will post messages once everything is signed sealed and delivered. We cannot control when other people decide to post messages on social media.

From Paul: Please remember, we are all volunteers and many have full time jobs, even Dom who manages our social media.

decide to post messages on social media.
Absolutely right Paul, and we underestimate the excellent work our volunteers do at our peril.
Most Clubs at our level couldn't exist without them, and we should be grateful.
As I said in my earlier post, social media is a good thing, but can also be a very dangerous thing because of the speed if it, which catches a lot of people unawares.
Everyone in the football world talks to each other constantly, and confidences are very difficult to adhere to, as much as you would like them to be. Players wanting to move, being tapped up, wages, etc, most if it BS, but nothing is secret these days.
On the whole we do ok with publicity outlets. It's far from perfect of course but, until we employ full time staff to the task, it can't change, and that is an area that is needed but financially unavailable at present, so we make the best of what we have, and we have some good people like Dom to thank for that.
Supporters are greedy for knowledge, but that's because they care about the Club, they just get a little bit impatient at times.

Baffled by a couple of the responses here and the seeming failure to read what was actually said.
To be clear, no one criticised anyone!!!!
I merely shared that Farnham were reporting Guy had left and was joining us.
I did this for the benefit of those not on Twitter, I won’t bloody bother next time.

Injured according to SD’s interview, as were Hish and Hady.
