Very poor from Boro, Havant's first goal was offside and their second was really piss poor defending. That being said they fully deserved to win. Boro are so weak up front they have no serious chance of competing for a play off place. Meanwhile Connor Hall scored three for Brackley.

Poor game not helped by the conditions it was cold and the rain set in. That said Havant wanted it more than us, we really need to be less scared to shoot there was at least 3 times in the second half where we could of got a decent shot away but instead decided to try to take on another player or take an extra touch or two before ultimately being easily taken off the ball.
Again another game where other than the forced sub in the first half Spencer leaves it until almost the 80th minute before trying to change up the game.
Losing Kuhl is going to hurt us as he’s been by far the best player this season.

In a word disappointing.
Despite the awful first half, when Jordan rocketed in the equaliser I couldn’t see anyway we wouldn’t win the match, instead we put them under about five minutes of pressure and then allowed them to take control again with them being back in front only a matter of time.
Can only assume Ricky & Selim were not fit enough to play, otherwise it would be unthinkable to not to have brought them on. Having two unfit players on the bench though does really highlight how incredibly stretched we are.
Maloney had an absolute stinker and I think we missed Folivi’s guile. Like the look of Ghandour but he was feeding on scraps as per usual with our forwards. Beyond him and Jordan, I don’t think anyone had a good day.
As for the new lad, he didn't seem to know the offside rule but he did show a solitary glimpse of magic in his short cameo. Fair to reserve judgement for now.
Despite the inevitable incoming line of ‘Havant are a far better side than their league position suggests’ it was scandalous to concede 4 times to them at home. As always one step forward two steps back!
I’ll end on the positives though, the kids loved the crepes and 1358 inside the ground…wow!!! Just a real shame the players couldn’t put on a show to entice a few back!

Positives today:
1,358 crowd, our biggest in more than ten years Our second goal was a cracker from JNW. 50/50 prize was £227! Well done to the winner, presuming it was claimed of course. Lovely tribute to Dave Workman before the match, and a lovely write up in the programme too. Trying to think of some positives of the game... but I don't think there are many. We played okay, but they were better having capitalised on our mistakes.
Negatives:
They were simply better than we were. We kept making mistakes, particularly the one that led to their first goal was irritating (even though it looked offside) Aaron Kuhl was sent off, meaning we'll be missing two key players for the next game after Reggie's suspension previously. Only two substituons made by Spencer? I'm intrigued.... and one of those was forced by injury in the opening five minutes! So only one tactical substitution!
Disappointing and definitely outworked, but definitely not our worst performance of the season (see Worthing, Chippenham, Weston)
Onto Saturday at Stale Buns
