Well it's not often we have a home game without scoring. Last time that happened in the league was the end of last season against a team called Worthing.... oh.
Today, well, it was just not good enough. First half we had chances, couldn't put them away, but the second half ended up being a two-punch knockout with two goals in three minutes at the start.
Thank you to NLTV for addressing the issues in the stream, as it was a lot better to watch in the second half, although that was when all of their goals went in so I'm not sure it was that enjoyable!
Interested to know why the subs didn't come on until the 75th minute, and has Folivi picked up another knock, considering he didn't come on? Or is that one of Spencer's "big changes", perhaps?
I await the interview now, or should I just watch the post-match Slough interview again? What can he say in the dressing room and on-camera that hasn't already been said....

From afar it seems we are creating chances but not converting when it matters...
Shame we lost Bloomfield last season who seems to be scoring freely at H&R..
Missing Pavey..
Folivi not put on when 2 down tonight..is he injured?
But the team needs to arrest the awful away form and re-build some confidence...otherwise we may get dragged down rather than looking up.
Come on Boro..back on the wagon to 3 pts.

1st half we looked competitive but then the away form kicked in and just like away we seemed to not mentally come out of the dressing room. For the first home game in a while the PRE emptied out early and rightfully so the players were booed at full time, I don’t usually agree with it but it’s just not good enough. I’m sorry but anyone who try’s to back that and argue it’s our first home loss of the season or we’re only x amount off the playoffs is delusional. Looking at the upcoming fixtures we’ll be lucky if we win a game before we play Havant on the 26th December.
Awaiting the Spencer interview but can guarantee he’s not going to take the blame or step down. He can’t blame the ref tonight who I thought had a good game and was fair to both teams and if he blames the team you have to say how long before you say he’s lost the dressing room also you can only blame the players for so long before you have to say is it the training and management.

In 98 minutes of football we managed 2 shots. We were utterly toothless. Both Connors had little to do other than chase lost causes and harry Worthing defenders. First half was even but the sucker blow of 2 quick goals at the start of the second half left us with no clue what to do to drag ourselves back into the contest. Worthing were no more than ordinary and capitalised on their opportunities, whilst we did nothing with ours and that was the difference. Was not the game the scoreline suggests, but we'd still be playing into next week without scoring.

There is absolutely no justification got booing and shouting "you're shit" at players applauding the fans that bothered to stay to the end and not abuse them WHEN THAT'S OUR FIRST HOME DEFEAT OF THE SEASON. To everybody who remembers football before the Premier League and so much money it's become farcical, teams lost football games and no one lost their minds and booed and swore at our players. Not least this is non league. These players don't need that shit. They aren't being paid hundreds of thousands a week.
And before you start, I'm not saying things aren't concerning. Something isn't right and I'm not sure what's suddenly going wrong besides knee jerk changes and ranting and alienating his own players by our imperious leader.
Playing real life Football Manager isn't the answer. If he was a Premier League manager he'd have to wait till January and work with what he had.
Difference tonight was Worthing recognised things weren't working and changed things at half time. We did nothing. Clearly someone didn't earn their corn at halftime.
How about when things aren't going brilliantly we support them rather than immediately booing. Pathetic entitlement.

IMHO - Crucial moment was ref not awarding us a free kick in the centre circle which led directly to their first goal seconds later.
I haven't seen an announcement of a MOTM and that's just about bloody right!
Dismal night at the San Cheerio...

I would usually agree that taking it out on the players is harsh but when you can clearly see their not putting in the effort and the manager is 1) unwilling to take blame 2) can’t, won’t, will never be held to account for poor performances then it’s inevitable that the players will end up on the receiving end of the fans anger. Again you’ve mentioned it’s our first home loss which I accept but in football you have to factor in all performances and recently they’ve not been good 1 point from a possible 15, no away win in 9 months. Our next games we have 2 at home against teams in the top 6 and 3 away games against teams who have a better home record than our dismal away record. By Christmas we could be in the relegation zone.

It feels to me like there's something wrong behind the scenes. Hair way through that second half their heads dropped and they lost all composure and desire. I can't disagree with you about a manager who is unaccountable. I bet they could his post match rant already ringing in their ears. Someone said they were worried he'd lost the dressing room and I'm starting to think that he might have. Thing is not all of them were poor, and a lot of them that weren't culpable for lack of effort were those with the grapes to clap the crowd to be faced with abuse. The buck normally stops with the manager but this club is arse about face in that regard. But it also means you have a job stop revolving door if scape goats and Don Spencerone pulling the trigger
