The end states we wish him well (except maybe this weekend) am I reading in to that then that he has joined St Albans as that’s who we’ve got this weekend, if so they’ve not announced it yet.

Yep, I think it was evident from SD's interview last weekend. Just needed a few days to grease up the bearings on the fabled revolving door!
It'll be really weird if he's our oppo on Saturday!

Nailed on ball ricochets in off his arse following a goalmouth scramble in stoppage time at the end of the 90 for a 1-0 win to them.

Don’t think we will miss him as SD struggles to fit him in the 11. Not quick enough for RB, not quite good enough for CB3 when compared to the other options we have. Far better with Jack Ball back in RB CB3 rather than on the bench.

Yes, as others have said, with the money freed up hopefully we can sign a genuine right(wing)-back....

Alfie Saunders went on loan to Dorchester but that loan ended 25th September.
I’d be worried for him as he’s not included in the squad list on the website, which seems strange as Adam Payce is listed despite being on loan at Sholing. However, I’m sure I saw Alfie doing some training before the Weston match.

Looking at Dorchester's line-ups, Alfie hasn't played since 12 September and he was substituted in his last three appearances for them, so he's not played a full competitive 90 minutes since 28 August. Make of that what you will.

Plus he’s a natural right back which is something we are short of.

Agree about Saunders - the lad has promise, would be good to see him back
And certainly agree about Partington. Didn't work out at all - and from what folk have said, the performance at Welling was an improvement without him in the side. Spencer's done well to move him on.
