Farcical scenes as their physio comes on for the 11th time this half as another Hemel player goes down with a mysterious knock from the invisible man.
Time wasting does not quite do this lot justice.

Agree first 22 minutes and sloppy defending cost us but from the moment the 2nd goal went in the time wasting tactics started and the ref did nothing to get control was to busy chatting to the players rather than making sure the players left the field of play quick enough. Their keeper had 1 good save to make and went down injured.
Hope we can get another striker we definitely missed hish Bloomfield played well when he had him to play off and seemed to miss that connection.

We dominated possession in the first 45mins, but never managed a shot on target for all that. On 12 mins, we were mugged in their half by having one player back (Keetch) sweeping from a corner who screwed up by taking a touch rather than putting his laces through it and into safety whilst the defence ran back. Hit on the break ensued.
I like Jack but find his sauntering out of the 18 yard box towards the half-way line annoying at best and cocky at worst. He was caught out by Hemel's first goal frantically back pedalling into the box before having a split-second chance to recompose himself to work out how to come forward again to narrow the angle. Big mistake, but I doubt he will learn from it...
Second half was a different game with John O adding spice down the right and the PRE boys waking up. Later addition of Ricky lit up the mid-field creativity and we were absolutely all over them again. Hate to think what the possessions figures were - 70% us / 30% them? Freddie's goal created hope and the lads stepped up and were unlucky not to gain at least a point after many spirited attempts and near misses in the last 20 mins or so.
We missed Sam (why Spencer...?) and only lit a fire in midfield when Ricky came on. Page was uncharacteristically quiet, I thought..
Hemel want to take a long hard look at themselves... Their blatant timewasting from 20 mins onwards was embarrassing for this level of football and more fitting for Sunday League. Keeper was a joke and if the rest of them were legitimate injuries/cramp, they need to man-up and train a lot harder. Cheats, maybe..?
