Tonight's winner was John Barrow who won £56 with ticket 2415. Thanks for all that entered.
Not sure just what we learned from the game, but good luck to Basingstoke, and on to Saturday!!
Meh.. maybe we were giving Lymington's scouts a false impression??

It was circus knockabout at the back! I have no idea who was meant to be in defensive midfield. Judging by the gaping hole in that position that Basingstoke gladly exploited, either no-one knew or someone came up very short indeed.
But, hey, it was a pre-season friendly, played in circumstances where it would be amazing if we fielded a settled line-up. I suspect things may be bumpy until, possibly, we pick up players currently trying their luck to get berths at Conference-level clubs. We'll know more in a fortnight or so.

Again it looked a lot better when the two trialist lads came on second half, one midfield, one up front, so hopefully they will start on Saturday.
The other fella with the beard that came on second half V Woking and played on the right, was standing down by us and said he had a slight hamstring pull.
I noticed also that a few of them and his mates were talking French!!
If it takes a couple of weeks to get a settled side, as you suggest, we could well be three points behind and out of the cup, missing out on £1500!!
So lets hope we get it a bit more settled, if not completely, by Saturday!
It's time to concentrate minds a bit!!!
COME ON YOU YELLOWWSSAA!!

We don't seem to like cups though do we. This has been evident for many seasons now.
