Yeah, reasonably happy with that, could have been a whole lot worse. If they don't take it too seriously, and we play our nuts off, there is just a chance of getting them back here on the Tuesday, the week after!! 10 day rule??
Parking was always crap around Gander Green Lane though, so I hope they have some sort of improvement!! Must have surely, seeing as they are getting crowds of 3000ish!
Hopefully we can get a coach, or two, as suggested earlier?
Bracknell V Ipswich?? Maybe they would like to hire Cherrywood? Westley's antics made a swap of grounds not a possibility.
COME ON YOU YELLOWWSSAA!!

I understand that it's less likely to be picked if the league team are at home, but I'm sure some of them will be considered.
Bracknell v Ipswich, Curzon Ashton v Cambridge, Hendon/Chippenham v Lincoln and Torquay/HRB v Derby would be my top picks, but it's a tricky one!

Are you serious? There is no chance whatsoever of at least half of your nominations being picked for TV. You seriously believe Cheltenham v Alvechurch is a potential TV game? It's possible. The draw was made in their clubhouse so already a BBC link.

Yet another trip to Gander Green Lane, where we've had mixed results over the years. Good: - They had to get rid of their cheapo plastic pitch that looked Maidstone/Havant bobbly bad (far better artificial surfaces are available - see Beaconsfield for details) - Easy by train (to West Sutton via Wimbledon) from Farnborough, then a short walk (but only if the RMT aren't planning a day off). - It's also an easy journey by car, but .... - I've always liked going to Gander Green Lane, particularly when drinking decent real ale in the small bar under the main stand. - Friendly locals. Bad: - Parking is a nightmare. - From previous trips, the food was disgusting and the service appallingly slow. Think the Woking outlet next to Moaners' Corner for the food quality and the old biddies at Aldershot for service. - Wherever you stand you'll be a long way from the pitch - I assume it must have been a dogs stadium back in the day. - Sutton are Bertie big bollocks now, so the chances of getting a decent pint under the main stand is vanishingly small. - Given Gander Green Lane isn't the biggest of grounds, I suspect the away section could be all ticket. That would be dull, if understandable. Neutral: Before today, I'd actually forgotten Sutton now play in the Football League. How things change. I wish them well, except when we play them.

Parking round there has always been difficult Nigel. Maybe this is a good time to organise a coach, or two, or three??

Whilst waiting for Club information, I've just looked on their website.
All their matches are segregated. Away supporters use the Collingwood road entrance. Next road on the right past the main entrance in Gander Green Lane. Club car park for Players Officials and special ticket holders only! All other parking is in side streets, or local multi storey car parks in town.
Ground capacity 5013 with away capacity around 500! Looks like we could be in a ticket situation again, ala Hayes!
Tickets to be bought in advance. Any tickets bought on the day, if available, subject to a £2 surcharge!!

The ticket prices will be announced soon.

Could have been worse! Not too far to travel, so hopefully we can fill a coach or two...? Hopefully a decent crowd (4,000?) which could return us a very handy £20K brown envelope. £40K if we win, anything for losing other than the shared gate money? Should be some good banter too! I think a 1500 crowd is more likely!
