Realistically we’re definitely not making the 3rd qualifying round now are we 😂 Our dynamic cup form continues…

FYI... Spencer has never progressed beyond the Second Qualifying Round as a manager. Just saying.

Just read on their forum they aren’t running a coach as there isn’t the interest as the same as the league game last season no fan coach done as only 4 people registered an interest. Also seen them mention due to train strikes they also can’t get here so unless they drive or car share they can’t make the game so they won’t have much support so hopefully we can cheer the boys to victory.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but we didn't run supporters coaches anywhere last season, apart from the play-off final.
So, I'm struggling to understand why a club with a smaller fanbase should be marked down for not running a coach to us for an FA Cup tie (rail strike or not). That would smack of Bertie Big bollocks stuff on our part, when we haven't exactly established ourselves at the level above.
We are very much a work in progress and stuff can happen, because it's the Cup. That said, I'm looking forward to the game and think we have enough to win it.

With the news that has just been announced regarding HM Queen, I am expecting that a state funeral would take place on Saturday 16th September, with matches moved to Sunday or Friday where appropriate.
This is just a guess as this hasn't happened for 70 years, but following the death of Diana, Princess of Wales, our home game with Kettering was moved to Sunday.

State funeral is most likely to be a weekday and if so declared a bank holiday. George VI was buried on a Friday which was 9 days after his death.
Princess Diana had a ceremonial royal funeral, not a state one.

I think all sport gets cancelled as of tonight for the next 10 days if I’m right as part of the 10 days of mourning. Assuming the club will release a statement.

This is just a guess as this hasn't happened for 70 years, but following the death of Diana, Princess of Wales, our home game with Kettering was moved to Sunday. If longstanding plans are followed, her funeral will take place on D+9 = Sat, 17 September. So the fixture will be moved. An aside, I semi "met" the Queen. I was 16 and me and my mate Kev were faffing around doing nothing much on our mopeds on a winter Sunday morning in King's Lynn. We were just up the road from the railway station and it was chucking it down. No one was around. We spotted some posh black cars exiting the station and guessed (correctly) that some Royals had arrived on the train (not an unusual occurrence, as Sandringham is just up the road), so we decided to wait. A cavalcade swept by us as we maniacally waved at the cars. A somewhat startled Queen spotted us and nervously gave us a wave back. A great memory! Wow, what a life. May she R.I.P.
