Allegedly on his way to Dover after leaving Farnborough. For crying out loud!!, Mick and Rich will demand a public enquiry as to how we let their idol go!!

You just know he's going to score from a header at a corner against us, don't you Mick??

He must have something about him, but his only decent position for us was centre half. Which is "interesting" for someone billed as a goalscoring midfielder. Wikipedia says he scored 9 goals from midfield in 44 appearances for Dagenham up to 2021. The 3 goals in 22 appearance for Barnet this last season was ok too, given Barnet were hardly challenging for a top half finish. Let's not beat about the bush, he was schooled by the likes of Gosport when he played in midfield for us. It was cringeworthy to watch, as he was so slow even I could have been quicker in a race to the bar at half time. So I suspect he couldn't be arsed. Yeah, whatever. His best performance for us was at centre half away at Yate. He's definitely got a future as a pretty good Step 3 centre half, should he choose that route. Or, maybe he still has something inside him to show he's a ConfSouth, or better, standard player? That's the bet Dover have placed, and he's played for them before. But, assuming he does have standards, he blew them apart in his short spell with us. Three word summary = he was rubbish. He's got a big rebuilding job to return to his previous standard.* *which means he'll score a 91st minute winner for Dover at Cherrywood!

The first game he played when he arrived with the fanfare of his NL pedigree fresh from Barnet and his extensive CV, I was looking forward to seeing a touch of class on the park... What we got was someone who resembled a park player who'd won a raffle to play in a PSF for his 'team' and it went downhill from there. He also had a turning circle wider than the Sea Empress!

Probably one of Spencer's biggest mistaken gambles on a player playing on reputation alone!! but, to be fair, most of the signings were pretty decent! The comments on the Barnet Forum when he left should have been warning enough though, but I suppose agents talk well, and Spencer listens!!
Watch him have a blinder when we play Dover!!!!
