Had they gone on the pitch to celebrate with our players I could just about excuse that. However an element ran to the area in front of the Hayes supporters to goad them and that is totally out of order. As you say Bob they will do it against the likes of Wealdstone or other who will give them a good spanking. I would feel little sympathy for them if they did. I expect the video will have recorded the faces and I also expect they will be known to our stewards from home games.

Having been there to see the inadequacies of the set-up at the ground (beautiful pitch to play on though!) I can fully understand the council dropping the crowd number to 1600 for safety as the ground is not suitable for a large crowd or to cope with the demands of the league above, yet they seem to have everything in place to progress!
Hayes seemed to be ill-prepared for a game of this nature at the ground. With just 400 people behind the goal, the safety barriers collapsed with very little pressure on a surge of about 50 people. Credit to their stewards for sorting temp barriers immediately to alleviate the issue but this should not have happened. The stewarding was minimal and seemed largely ineffective if they were put under pressure. The minimal catering facility was overwhelmed and the ‘act like your at a party in No10’ and bring your own booze was a bit of a joke - although understandable because they could not cope with segregation.
Just as well that Hayes don’t have any proper rivals or needle matches as things could go quite wrong quite quickly for them there - as illustrated by certain green-street wannabes who have attached themselves to our support who whilst the give it plenty of volume would fold like a cheap deckchair when in a real confrontation with proper hoolies.

I know its old news now, and doesn't really matter anyway, but has anyone else noticed the Hayes striker appears to flip the bouncing ball over the defender with his hand, before running in for their goal?? Freeze frame it watch it like I did.
As I say, not that it matters anyway!!!!!!!!!
COME ON YOU YELLOWWSSAA!!

They scored from a free kick that should never have been given. Their number 3 went down from a fair challenge, after the ref gave the free kick their player walked by the home dugout and winked knowingly at their manager who acknowledged it...

I doubt the Geeza's shirt will fetch £7M like Maradonna's "Hand of God" one did recently...

Although his hand is raised I don't think he actually touches the ball.
