These boys just never give up do they?
To be losing in the 85th minute, and then have CJ Fearn, of all people, pop up and give us a hope, to which Mitch Parker answered the prayers, was just nothing short of commendable.
Phenomenal effort and it's Hayes on Monday. Away.

Absolutely amazing result. At 89 minutes I had wrote us off then CJ just sent the crowd wild.
I know I have winged about them a few times this season on here, but the youth / PRE were on form tonight that’s what we need week in week out not the fighting and causing trouble but that. They made loads of noise got behind the boys and it took me back to when the PRE was a cow shed full of people singing and getting behind the boys.
On to Monday.

Did not see that happening after 85 minutes. Brilliant effort all round despite a nervous first half for both teams. Fantastic support, great entertainment and what a positive vibe to take to H&Y.
Get those legs rested lads and go do it all again on Monday.

Completely agree with this, the younger lads / new PRE boys made a massive difference tonight. Just shows what can happen when they focus on getting behind the team and forget the nonsense. Great to see the club busy, noisy again. CJ header must rank up there with other past moments like Hodgy vs Stevenage all those years ago! Great night and well worth the 3 hour round trip to watch! |

Yes, top marks to the young people who carried the team through and thanks for sticking with the club despite some trying to discourage them!
A monumental effor from all the players too. Mitch has been our best signing for a long time. I do worry that ET has taken it out of them and Hayes will be fresher. Concerned also about knocks to CJ, Jack Ball, Mitch Brundle etc leaves us very short of defensive cover.

At points I didn’t think we was going to get past beachy once never mind twice, at one nil down I was debating an early exit with the early alarm for work in the back of my mind
Safe to say I’m glad I didn’t, good to see another great crowd. The boys didn’t let off, the work rate of pratt and Mitch up top yet again was another level!
And then to get home and see people complaining on social media about the noise 🤣
Onto Monday! Up the boro!!!
