Hope I don't need it, but I have a possible clash of events on Saturday April 24th!!.
Does anyone know the play off dates please? I could have an awkward decision to make!!!
Winning the League of course would make that so much better!!!!
COME ON YOU YELLOWWSSAA!!

The only way we will be playing on 30th April is if we've won the league in which case we'll be away at Banbury in the Champions match.

Can someone please explain to this idiot in simple terms how promotion works? Ie what the champions and playoff winners have to do. Assume there’s interaction with other divisions?
Apologies if this has been covered before.

As far as I am aware for the playoffs it is a straight shoot-out for promotion with no playing-off against other divisions in the pyramid afterwards - the champions trophy in the SL is essentially a nothing trophy for the league to settle who is the 'best' of their 2 winners at their top level.

It does confuse me a little, as there is only one relegation spot in the Conference North, and only one in the Conference South. But the Conference South has one less team so maybe it will be balanced out for next season??? The system seems to be: Champions and playoff winners of the Northern Premier League Premier Division and the Southern League Central Division gain promotion into Conference North Champions and playoff winners of the Southern League South Division and Isthmian League Premier Division gain promotion into Conference South However as there is only one team that gets relegated in each conference league, I'm not too sure how it can accommodate four more teams (being two from each division) I may be missing something. Hopefully someone can clear this up for me.

When the Southern League was split into 2 premier divisions, Southern and Central, they needed a match between the two divisions to decide the winners of that massive shield. Hence the champions match. That's "all" it is.
Winners plus playoff winners go up from each division.

Four down from each and 2 up from each Step 3 division. As the tables stand at the moment, Banbury, Peterborough Sports, Buxton and South Shields would go North. Taunton, Hayes, Worthing and Bishops Stortford would go South. They would then fit the one relegated from CN & CS into the relevant league. Guiseley to Northern Premier and Welling to Isthmian League

So extending from that, no club going in to Southern south or Central, does that mean SL South and Central Leagues have four coming and three down to bring them up to 24 also? Or will they stay at 22?

That is the plan anyway.
