Spencer Day highlights the many issues that clubs at our level face resuming league football (not insurmountable, but far from easy). And there's some interesting stuff about who from last season's squad may or not be now contracted elsewhere, although he won't talk about individual players (feel free to watch if Spencer actually does this and draw your own conclusions!).
The Academy is mentioned, but no light is shed on the recent, very strongly worded, statement from the Club about taking legal action against the previous providers. Given my minuscule knowledge of how civil law works, I've always understood it's only the lawyers that get rich unless the outcome is a "slam dunk" and, even then, if there's no money to be had then a legal ruling in your favour would be nugatory, unless the primary purpose is to seek an injunction. But I'm not party to the facts of the matter, so maybe the Club sees a route to a legal decision that would deliver a satisfactory outcome. No doubt we will discover how this pans out in due course.
Effusive thanks are given to those who've responded to appeals to make donations/buy season tickets when there is no certainty when and if the season starts and (hopefully) concludes after a full programme of fixtures. Also the thanks to the volunteers who are so key to keeping the Club going is a nice touch.

Interesting report, and you have to sympathise with all that goes on in trying to get some form of normality back on track!
Of course he can't/won't comment on players staying/leaving, and why should he? we only have to wait until something definite on the start date is confirmed before any real negotiations commence, although I'm sure there are plenty of elbow bump agreements in place, but even those can't be assured as we have found in the past!!
Good to know we have a new Kit Manager to replace the great Roger, so I a assume we will get a formal announcement soon? He, for one, is going to have an enormous task ahead of him this season, IF there is a 'this season'?? A strong hint of nothing until 2022!!!
There is still a very long way to go, in my opinion, before we see and semblance of play and, as he stated, this club, like most others, literally can't work without the finance of attendances, bars and social functions to support it.
Interesting point also re. some American clubs and players 'opting out from performing until it is safe'!! I wonder if such situations could occur over here? You wouldn't blame them if they did would you?
Fingers crossed and stay safe.

I believe there were similar issues at Sutton. Knights were heavily involved there, including stadium naming rights, but appeared to be swept under the rug pretty sharpish. Rumours of money being owed... (allegedly and all that)

Got the first one, it's the new French signing M'itre, but some say that's balls.
