Great response from the lads after a dumping in midweek. 2-1 could/should have been 6-1, but three massive points and 2 more than Hayes as a bonus.
COME ON YOU YELLOWWSSAA!!

Really enjoyed that. Pleased for Platty scoring his first goals for the club. Great entertainment.

Jeez we made hard work of that! Salisbury seemed to have come to just make sure they did not lose points against a playoff rival.
Great to see Pratt get off the mark after all his hard work since signing where he has barely had a sniff at goal so far - that said he should easily have finished his hat trick off but their keeper made a great save 1 on 1 late-on.
3 points against one of our direct competition for promotion is always welcome, especially coming after the midweek reality check… Only another 10 wins in a row to set our next record 👍🏻

The phrase "We made hard work of that" seems to be cropping up a lot recently.
We got the three points. Pratt was excellent and deserved a hat trick. It could have been so much more than two goals though.
Football overall was on some sort of drug today. Hartley losing 4-3, Hayes only a draw, and 27 goals so far in the Premier League this weekend.
Whatever, WE'RE STILL TOP. Tough game Sunday though v Kingstonian!

I have to say after the tonking in the week this was a tough ask, with a game against promotion rivals, but the team showed real character, which augurs well for the rest of the season. Really could have won by 4 or 5 if we'd taken our chances.

Really could have won by 4 or 5 if we'd taken our chances. Agreed. Claridge may have gotten beside himself about our second, but, Salisbury were outclassed. Yep, he fielded lots of big blokes - classic Salisbury - but answers came there none when it came to executing the clever stuff. Which is why we won the game. Perhaps Steve needs to explore clever? His team were like dinosaurs trundling across Salisbury Plain. Things moved on a long time ago.
