Good to see two former Boro youth players, Samuel Somerville (Jake) and Junior Eldstal in the Malaysian squad for this year.
It shows what good youth players we had at the club between 2007 and 2011. During that period, three of the players signed for Cardiff and four for Glasgow Celtic. Another youth player from that period who has done well is Jed Wallace who went on to play for Portsmouth and is currently at Millwall. A great credit to the youth management at the time.
