The Southern League is aiming for a 12th December restart, subject to the Government lifting current restrictions of course. The 12th is a blank day for us so we would restart on the 19th, away at Truro, unless we rearrange one of the postponed games for the midweek of 14th-16th.

Sounds promising, and the free Saturday does give us a bit of extra breathing space for training, and a possible friendly or two, to get some air in the lungs and leg work done.
Fingers crossed, and hope the powers at be can let us out!
Mind you, a long trip to Truro, on the Sat before Christmas, is hardly appealing!!

An update.
We could restart on 12th December after all as Chesham United also don't have a game that day. In the original schedule we were due to play them at home last night ...

Hmm, assuming the lockdown is released on the 3rd? that gives just 8 days to prepare the team for a home game on the 12th, unless they come in on a Sunday as well? All that after a four/five weeks lay off!! hardly good preparation, with maybe three training sessions if you are lucky. I would suggest we should consider taking the free Saturday, and every opportunity given, and use the extra week to prepare for the 'Trek' to Truro!! on the 19th. A very difficult fixture under normal circumstances!!
