Can't say much more than that! Good, reasoned, interview. Thanks Spencer.
We may not always agree with what goes on, and maybe our criticisms are unfounded and misunderstood at times, but underneath it's because we all care about our Football Club and we really do appreciate everything that goes in to giving us our footie fix!
Thanks again for what you did manage this season. A worthy effort in extreme circumstances.
Lets hope we can get back to reality in the New Year.
Keep safe everyone.

As expected after last night's results, we have the worst playing record of the "3rd bottom" teams* = relegation to Step 4 if the season is not resumed.
* = 2nd bottom in our Division, as it is running one club short (Merthyr do not count as they've been assured of a Step 3 place next season when, hopefully, they can resume playing).

Nigel. Bamber bridge losing makes them on 4 points from 9 games = 0.44 per game and a goal difference of -11, compared to our 4 from 8 games = 0.5 per game and -10gd
Is ours not better?

Sorry, yes, Bamber Bridge now have a worse record than ours. But we have the 2nd worse record on a PPG basis across the Step 3 3rd bottom clubs (= 2nd bottom in our division as explained previously). So, curtailing the season with no further games being played would mean we would be relegated to Step 4 if PPG is used. The other calculation of course is that clubs could well rebel against the idea of relegations and promotions being made on this basis when less than a quarter of the season has been completed.

I think that is what Spencer was eluding to in his report. To call a halt with only a fraction of games played, and promote/relegate, would cause a huge row! The only one in favour would possibly be Poole!!
