Awful game , and probably the worst teamwe have plaed so far, but three points is all that matters.!! Well done boys.
Have a look at the League table and compare us with Torquay!!! That shows how far this club has come!!

Agree with borobob what an awful game not helped by the ref blowing for anything and everything.
I have 3 views after that……… 1) Spencer please sign Kuhl permanently he is player of the season. 2) another one for Spencer and that’s sort the game plan out why the heck does every attack have to go wide even when we look like making progress centrally we switch it out wide and do nothing. 3) this is for all our so called strikers, take a look at yourselves, you are robbing a living I’ve never seen so many strikers in my life who are scared to actually take a shot. Matthew Lewis should have had number 2 but rather than shoot decided on at least 2 occasions to true to walk it in. Hish is a broke player at the moment his confidence is shot and he didn’t look happy when subbed off. Bradbury I just hasn’t got it he isn’t a striker maybe switching to midfield would be a better option for him, he’s more likely to get booked than score and for one of the taller players he gets beat to the ball in the air every time.
I know we won and I should be happier but I’m starting to get fed up with the drivel, it’s the same every game we are not comfortable and we aren’t a team who can survive on just leading by 1 goal.

A battling win.Could have maybe should have been a draw if they had scored from the rebound off the post. We passed the ball well in the first half but not in the second allowing them more of the game.I thought Hish and Millar showed well considering they haven't had much game time.Same with Bradbury, unfair to criticise when he is only getting scraps at the end of games. The interview with the Welling boss is a classic.Starts off by saying Boro are in a false position, then it's the ref the ref the ref, then at the end says he will glad to face a PROPER team next time out.

It was an awful watch.
We dominated possession and territory in the first half without really creating many chances. Aarons goal was scrappy and frankly I think it deflected off Hish. He wheeled off celebrating and looked a little disappointed when everyone else ran to Aaron. I’d have given it to him personally just for confidence. Hish is still not the player he was, but I thought he was a lot brighter generally tonight and there were a couple of moments where the explosive pace re-appeared and nearly got him in on goal.
Second half we were pedestrian going forward and seemed intent on gifting Welling an undeserved equaliser. We should have had more than enough to put Welling to bed but as was entirely predictable, losing Hady has once again put us back in a position where we won’t score enough goals. Millar played well generally but seemingly didn’t want to shoot when the chance was there. As has been said, Bradbury wins nothing in the air which I just can’t understand as he is 6’3 and he doesn’t seem like he wants to score tbh. There was a cross from JNW that he didn’t even need to jump for that seemed absolutely perfect, he just needed to attack it but for some reason he let it sail past with no attempt to make contact with his head.
I saw someone say online earlier we still had an outside chance of the play offs. I’m all for optimism but that is beyond a stretch. A much needed 3 points tonight but realistically it papers over a lot of cracks. We need to start building now for next season and learn the lessons of this (and last) season. Retain the key players, get Kuhl signed up permanently and bring in three forwards of Hadys quality on perm contracts. I know people will say where’s the money coming from for three decent forwards that actually score goals, but we need to face the reality that without sufficient firepower it will be another mid table finish. If people are happy with that fine, but we have to accept the crowds are not going to grow with mid table obscurity.

Rod Stringer has got the arse because they lost and he got booked. No way did we have the ref in our pocket - stupid thing to say - he was atrocious to the point of incompetent though!
We looked like Saturday had taken it out of us and it's frustrating that for all our possession I can't recall us drawing a single save from their keeper?
Happy to take three points but still desperately seeking a striker with razor sharp finishing prowess.
Well done boys and on to the next one!

The ref looked like a bloke who'd wandered in off the street and, in an implausible plot twist, suddenly found himself officiating a National League football match.
He was atrocious (for both sides). The clown-show at the end of the first half was quite something. It ought to be released on video with a deadpan voice-over describing the events as they unfolded.

I’m tempted to say the referees poor performance impacted the quality of the game from both sides. Still, a win is a win, and we move forward!

The goal is on the socials and as I watch from my Rooftop, pool side vantage point with a beer in Morocco it looked it definitely hit Hish and he was definitely offside.
Swings and roundabouts.

Sounds a bit warmer than San Cherio last night!! God it was cold, which probably kept a few by the fireside rather than attend, and not helped by a pretty poor game and officialdom, but three points is all you can say!!
And then home to find Woking have escaped the bottom four with a win in the 90th minute!!! Grrr.
Oh well, on to Bath and Worthing, two nice easy games eh??
COME ON YOU YELLOWWSSAA!!
