Correct result today but we were made to work for it.
Referee I know they have a tough job but she definitely didn’t make it easier for herself today. She was constantly surrounded by their players and didn’t book any of them, she booked their no10 when I’m 99% sure it should have been the number 11 who then got booked 2 minutes later and if she had got the first decision correct it would have been his 2nd and a red.
Truro well played to them they were screaming for everything and the ref bought it hook line and sinker.
1st half we played well 2nd started very slowly and was looking to be a dull affair. I personally think he made the Bradbury sub 10 minutes to late I was saying to another supporter in the 55th min he needed to make that sub. I’m hoping Bradbury comes good but he looked off the pace today and not even a little off but miles off the pace. Ricky put in a decent performance and deservedly got his goal. My only other opinion and it doesn’t matter as we got the win but I was suprised he didn’t put Selim instead of Taylor to inject some pace on the wings as Truro did look vulnerable on the flanks.

Pretty good sum up there Antz, and I agree the no 11 got very lucky when the 10 took the card for him. Later on his yellow should well have been a second/red and an early shower. I wonder if the assessor picked it up or will his mate help him out here.?
Overall we got lucky, two kicked off the line and they also hit the post, but we got the breaks.
I thought Truro looked good and quite pacey, but it just didn't go for them, but they should be ok if they continue to play that way.
Ricky had a superb 80 minutes and rightly got MOM, but I'm still unsure as to Harvey up front. For a big lad he wins very little in the air, but lets hope that is a fitness issue, and he improves as we go on.
Other than that 3 points is three points, as we edge towards the safety line!
COME ON YOU YELLOWWSSAA!!

A good match to watch, can't beat a late winner !
Decent performance for the most part - Kuhl and Holmes played well in particular. And brilliant cross from Jordan for Ricky's goal. Why we then went into our shell, seemingly trying to see it out with 20 minutes to go, I'm not sure. Their second was a terrible goal to give away. But good spirit we came back into it again - really good striker's goal from Hady at the death. Didn't do much all game but popped up when it mattered most. The performance in general was pretty good but we do need a bit more up top. Bradbury seems a willing worker but maybe not fully fit. We could do with Hish back up to speed.
Anyhow, great to get the win - well played lads !

Disagree on Hady. I thought he put in a good shift. Great touch and run past two defenders in the first half was a highlight.
Don't forget he was up front on his own for the first hour.😂

I think Taylor did very well. He’s really impressed me since joining. I think it made more sense to bring him on as it allowed Pendlebury and Kuhl to be a bit more loose and get down the wings.

Vital 3 points but didn’t we make hard work of it.
Strongly disagree that Hady didnt have a good match. He worked tirelessly and didn’t put a foot wrong. Had minimal service but when he did get his chance he took it well and won us the match. Not sure what more we want from a forward!?
Not sure either about Ricky having a good day or being man of the match, he was pretty ineffective by his own high standards, but took his goal from Jordan’s cross really well. Man of the match for me was easily one of Hady or Kuhl.
Harvey, I just don’t know. I want him to do well but I just can’t get my head around why someone who is 6’3 wins nothing in the air. His hold up play hasn’t been great and hasn’t shown anything with the ball at his feet.
Defending again is clearly our biggest problem though. That second goal was abysmal, I think the worst we have conceded all season, three or four opportunities to clear it not taken. With the forwards we have I’m certain we will score goals, keeping them out at the other end is another story all together unfortunately.
The news Pruti is returning is interesting, as the rumour was that he wasn’t popular with the management team. Personally I thought he was a mixed bag, some very good performances but also some not so great ones.

Just to weigh in what I think are worthy of a "Mention in Despatches" today: - CJ - for his clearance off the line saving a certain goal
- Jack - for saving a close range rocket which he palmed away in the second half
- Reggie - for taking on the oppo's defence, cutting in and drawing a diving save from their keeper, which led to Jordan crossing in for Ricky to slot home
Very happy to walk away with all 3 points given how we squandered our lead twice.
Roll on Tuesday evening...
