We won't be segregating any of our matches for the rest of this season, which includes Yeovil and Torquay. Sounds surprising to me. I would've thought they would bring enough to warrant segregation? I'd like to clarify this is not a dig or a way to criticise the club, I'm simply intrigued about the figures. What would be good, and would make the ground look a lot more full, is if were to occupy the main stand and the Charles Mortimore stand in segregated games, while away support have the MRE and JOH stand. I feel that it would work and get the chants going behind the main goal? Just a thought. farnboroughfc.co.uk/2024/02/tickets-on-sale-for-remaining-home-games/Tom, just the one question. What about all the fans who don't want to sit down at the game?

Plenty of standing room only at the Boro home end Mark. PRE 18 yarders corner down towards the 'wet' dugouts is standing, as is the Club shop corner down to the main stand.
Segregation, when we have it for visitors, ends at the MRE side of the 'wet' dugouts. So visitors would have chairman's mound MRE and seating up to the dugouts. Section beneath the scoreboard/ camera stanchion could be used as the sterile zone.
More than sufficient for decent segregation. Probably 2500/3000 to each club available that way.

Just going by Tom's point, the JOH Stand which I always took it was all of the SWAN.

The current natural segregation is the seated half of the John O'Hara stand, Moor Road terrace and the Chairman's Mound. So 400 or seats plus whatever the standing capacity in that area is these days (1,000-1,500?).
Were we to ever progress up the levels a far smaller segregated area would be needed, but it would be used more often, and suspect it would need additional turnstiles and exits in order to work.

The club has recently installed two of the blue turnstiles, from where the fan zone is currently situated, and installed them at the away end, and very good they look too, but I suspect we may well need a couple more to be able to fully segregate.
That gives us six home and two away, I think, which is a lot more than some clubs offer!
