That was so frustrating, I wish I hadn’t found the motivation to go.
Similar to Tuesday night, completely in control first half (Eastbourne like Hemel were absolutely there for the taking), utterly inept in the second half.
Once again, another massively incompetent performance from the officials, let them kick lumps out of us all first half until it boiled over with Robbo and one of their players rolling around on the astro turf wrestling each other.
Wouldn’t have been surprised if he had sent them both off, but I think he realised it was his own fault that it had got to that stage and opted a booking a piece was enough.
The penalty I can’t be sure, looked a good challenge from the other end but hard to tell, if it’s a penalty then I would have to question why Selim dived in and suggest he needs a word about being careful with his challenges in the box.
Our only bright spark today for me was Millar Matthews-Lewis, looked sharp, hungry and very capable. So what did Spencer do, took him off!
Bradbury on the other hand has some work to do to be convincing, didn’t win a header all day! So far not of the Alfie Pavey mould. To be fair he was up against two giants, but he’s hardly one of snow whites mates himself.
I hope not to hear Spencer blame Connor Cullen for his miss when he’d just come on and blasted well over, or the officials despite how poor they were (that’s par for the course). Management need to take some responsibility, the second half performances today and on Tuesday, have not been good enough.
We unfortunately now have to be realistic and admit we are in real danger of being dragged in to a relegation scrap.

Out of order that, the lad is clearly low on confidence as not been playing, makes an error with first touch after coming on and he blames him. Needs an arm round the shoulder not being hung out to dry in public. Poor management.

------------------------- Hi Boromike. Many thanks for the prompt short report on the game. I am sure many people appreciate it. As to the SD interview, we get the same old info repeated each game at the moment. I wonder if Dom should give SD 12 hours to assess the game, despite our "need" to hear his views.

More slopes on SD shoulders than Kitzbuhel... Unimpressed with his public criticism of Salim and Connor - if at all, behind closed doors stuff that... And, maybe stop searching for the answer in loan players that come to us injured and/or not match fit. Despite the hopeful headlines, fact is that our results stay the same. Chin up lads. We go again...

Seems to me there are quite a few mirrors that need looking in to!!
I did say, a few posts ago, that we seriously need to look over our shoulder, and now we need interior and wing mirrors too!!
Three above us winning, three of the bottom four winning, and most in between with games in hand!!
If that doesn't concentrate the mind, Saturday could define our season!!
