Well I thoroughly enjoyed that.
A cracking game, against another one of the very strong top teams, yet I came away disappointed we didn't win it!! That shows how well we played and battled. Well done everyone!! Very difficult to name MOM, but JT for his pen save, and superb kick out for Connor's opening goal, just about shaded it for him.
Have to make a point about the referee too, probably the best we have had here for some time, even though he made a right hash of giving Bath that penalty, but JT got him out of the hole with a great save. Bath player diving in to him as he collected the rebound was also very fortunate to only get a yellow.
Overall though, a decent game, and a fair attendance.

The ref was excellent for about 65 minutes then lost the plot. Bizarre. He gave in to their chucking themselves to the floor which was hadn't been but then when Folivi or Cullen went down a little easily, we got nothing. Very odd turn around. Still better than a lot of refs this season though

Also, in reference to the attendance, I have seen less people there and it's called 750 + to 800. Bath brought a good crowd so i thought it'd be over 800. Not sure how we count it anymore.

Crowd felt sparse today. Taking in to account there was at least 120 Bath fans, it was a pretty poor home attendance, reflective of recent results I feel.

I think recent results would have had an affect, I also think the banning orders issued to some of the youth may have as their mates may have also decided to stay away. In honesty I’d rather have less fans than the trouble.

Hoorah! Entertainment returns to the San Cheerio!
That was more like it. Chalk and cheese compared with Tuesday night. The big difference for me was that we wanted it. The energy and desire to compete was there to see with every player running down the oppo and constantly at their heels. We also won so many 1st and 2nd balls today compared with recent games and, as they say, if you have possession, the other team can't score! Mojo restored.
I wasn't overly impressed with Bath but that was probably credit to our guys not allowing them to play as they like. That is until we suddenly went 5 at the back, sat back and allowed their talent room to manoeuvre - and score the 2nd goal.
Super, Super Jack... Deserved MOTM for the pen save alone but Selim was also on great form today with some great runs and passes.
Top marks all round and keep it like that lads - you looked like a tight knit team today. Bravo!

Weird, I don't think it felt sparse, not in comparison to Tuesday. Big PRE stand seemed fairly well populated first half, but old PRE was missing the crush and prolonged singing. It's a shame we can't have a good crowd in there coupled with fans who can behave themselves, not get shit faced and start fights. It's only a game.

We did make it difficult on ourselves by not converting the chances, especially those we had early in the first half, whereas Bath put their few attempts away.
Both Bath goals were from uncontested headers - the second one a fortunate one that snuck in rather than by intention - centre back flicking it on rather than an aimed header. Plenty of times they had the man over at the back stick who they fortunately were unable to find for the most part and when they did were not able to get anything substantial on to the ball. Something for the coaches to work on, but will always be an issue if you defend with 3 against an attacking 4!
Bath winning would have been a robbery, so seeing super Jack save it was immense - not often a keeper gets an assist and saves a pen in the same game!
