Tonight's report is very concerning for the Club as a whole, and I worry about the vibes Spencer gave out tonight. It could mean too many changes are coming that will, again, take time to gel, and we slowly slip down from our reasonable position.
You quite often hear of the term Managers 'losing the dressing room'!! I'm hoping this isn't the case but maybe there is some serious mirror looking in to needed from all quarters!!
Regrettably, I get the feeling sometimes that 'Senior' players that join probably know a little bit more about the game, than Spencer, and may not take too kindly to his methods, and therefore don't 'run through a brick wall' for him, like players do for some other managers.
That, if true, is a recruitment interview failure, or maybe too much listening to Agents selling techniques?
I remember, as a young player, many years ago now, at a fairly good standard for the time, the Club Manager, who had come from a Division One Club, (PL now), told me there are players that you can put your arm round and talk to like an old uncle, and players you need to kick up the a**se. The skill is knowing which to use, on who, and when!!
You can't just say, he's no good, chuck him out, without taking the time to work out what is going wrong, why and rectifying it.
The revolving door is not the answer!! It's called coaching, and man management!!!! Raging on interviews, and slagging players, also doesn't help. That should be dressing room only!!
Spencer, you have done some great stuff for the club over the years, you obviously have extremely good contacts, and have brought some very good players to the club, but maybe it's time now to take a step back, and let Ricky take control of the team for a while??
There is no harm in saying I've reached my limit, and I'm sure we would all respect you for it.
No one is bigger than the club!!
COME ON YOU YELLOWWSSAA!!

I actually feel Spencer's comments were spot on. It's clear as mud that some players are not giving 100% to the cause. I have only attended the home games this season, so can't comment on the non-winning away games, but there are five or six players who give their all and run their socks off at the home games I have seen, so have no complaints about them, but others look like they are just going through the motions. That's not good enough to have any chance or hopes of reaching a play off position.
Compare the work and team effort of the Weymouth players when Boro played them a couple of weeks ago and you can see what I mean.

Where to start.
Shocking performance. No guts. A lot of possession but no point having it if you’re less than average on the ball.
I think it’s time for changes. I don’t understand how you can have Connor Hall on the bench when he’s been on form the best out of all the strikers. Michael Folivi doesn’t cut it for me. Connor Cullen just looks lost and not cut out for this level.
Midfield wise I think they are all as bad as each other. Olly isn’t the same players as last year, Ricky had a bad game. Reggie and Salem is quick but they should be scoring or at least shooting a lot more than they are. Aaron Kuhl is the only midfielder showing worth right now. We have Jaden Perez and Adam Mekki on the bench. When players underperform consistently why aren’t we replacing?
CJ has been our best defender this season yet he’s only been seen the last few games (think someone on Twitter said he was cup tied for the game). You can clearly see the defence is not good enough. The only major change to our defence from last season is no Kevin Lokko. Enough said. And where was Pruti?
I’m concerned about this season. We seem to have one good performance and several appalling ones in a row. We have been lucky that our home games have been against mediocre opposition. This needs to be sorted and sorted asap.
Then our fan behaviour is just as bad. Who goes to a football game to get drunk and fight? It’s shocking - although seeing them around the ground they were looking for trouble. The club needs to ban them. That simple really.

CJ was apparently cup tied, and Pruti was on International duty with the Albanian U.21's, and will still be on Tuesday.
Strangely, he was an un-used sub in a 5-0 defeat by Rumania!! What a waste!!
As for the small band of muppets causing trouble again yesterday, words fail me!! The video circulating after the game is sickening, and the big chap in the white top should be fairly easy to identify, if we don't already know who he is!!
One further point, whilst not condoning the idiots, it was quite obvious during the game that several youngsters were openly wandering around with glasses of beer in hand!!
Two points: were they glass or plastic containers, and secondly how did these, obviously under age young people get served in the first place?
One lad that staggered past me at the toilet entrance at half time, with glass in hand, was obviously under age, and laughing as he joined his mates. Yes, I could have said something but, at 76, and with his mates around him, ignored it!!
There has to be some questioning as to the Stewarding at Slough though, that allowed this situation to happen in the first place, and beer to be allowed in the terrace areas!
That doesn't take away the absolute moronic actions of the few, that tarnish our club and others of recent ilk, and I hope that, when caught, the toughest possible sanctions are imposed.
The actions shown on the video are nothing less than common assault, so let's hope the correct judicial action is taken by both clubs and the police.

Never before have I had to see a club have to release three club statements over the course of four games.
It frustrates me so, so much. There are so many clubs, including ours, that work so hard to increase their fanbase and increase their reputation. There are lots of non-league clubs that have amazing people with fantastic stories and work their best week in, week out for the club and do a lot of (sadly, relatively unnoticed) work behind the scenes.
And then, you have a small minority of people that drag the club down. I've seen it at a lot of clubs over the last few years. I'm sick of it. Sick of these 'people' that call themselves 'fans'. I'm frustrated and disappointed for the work of the fantastic volunteers, staff and players that get totally diminished by this sort of behaviour. It's no good just giving these people a ban from one stadium. Ban them from every stadium. If it's something that needs to be taken that seriously (which it is) there needs to be a way to ban these people from going to football stadiums.
At the heart of it, we are a fantastic club that is on the up. Yes, we may have lost yesterday, but since lockdown we have been promoted, had a cup run, challenged for the playoffs, and made amazing progress.
We should be talking about our performance on the pitch, but yet again, it's undermined.
And as I say, every club has history and amazing stories that are forgotten every time something like this happens.
It's draining.

I think you're spot on Bob - the majority of our first team are more than good enough (individually) for the current level, and the last home match I managed to attend (Dover) was terrific; everything seemed to click. Good players don't suddenly become "mickey takers" whenever they play away from home and undertaking a major dismantling of the side right now is going to do much more harm than good.
Maybe there are one or two that have disappointed and could be shipped out, but form is temporary and class is permanent. What frustrates me is that I can't remember Spencer ever having taken a scintilla of responsibility for a defeat in 12 years of being our club's Manager For Life. It's clearly not the whole story to always blame the players or refs for 8 months on the road without a win (and counting).
For me, the only "revolving door" that needs to be employed is the one that takes Spencer upstairs to become overseeing 'Emperor of Football' while someone with a bit of empathy, humility and psychological nous deals with the day to day man management.

Ricky as head coach and Spencer as Director of Football would be interesting to see. Ricky manages the tactics on pitch and DoF manages transfers and the like.

Ricky with Steve would be a good combination I feel, and I thought Steve's interview a week or so back was excellent.
It all depends if Spencer and Rob are brave enough to make the right choice though!
I'm not holding my breath!!

Having just watched the "Highlights"...
1) I think that the ball hit Kuhl's hand, which was in a natural position, for their winning free-kick. 2) How could Fivoli miss from 7 yards on 92 mins..? 3) Absolute travesty for Jordan to get that second yellow. He had the ball and the oppo bowled them both over.
Shit ref.

Looking at the video, I also thought Jack was way out of position for the kick, standing to the left of centre, which gave the kicker the whole of his right side to place the ball in, and exactly where it went!!
Seems harsh to criticise him though, especially as he has kept the score down so many times this season and, indeed, did so on Saturday on several occasions.
We still love you Jack, best keeper we have had for many a season, including Beachy!!

I don’t think I’ll ever see the day Spencer steps away from the box, I had to laugh when his name was mentioned on the Woking forum as a replacement for their vacant post.
Jack had a lot of credit in my book, there’s been so many times where he has kept us in a game or won us the game with some excellent stops that I can forgive the odd mistake.
For me I didn’t rate Mekki when he came in and I’ve definitely not seen enough of him to of changed my mind. Upward got injured in pre season and then the games he has played he’s not lit the pitch up and showed anything amazing. Folivi I’ve already said before I don’t think he’s got that fight in him I’ve seen him miss quite a few sitters. Hall still looks to be carrying quite a bit of timber and just hasn’t looked the business.
Pruti and Kuhl have looked good and up for it when they’ve played but for me the main issue isn’t the defence it is up top, I think the defence would settle and relax more if they knew they had someone up top who could score regularly as it means that we could get ahead where as it is now they know the pressure is fully on them as more often than not we can’t hit a barn door (especially away from home).

Time for Spencer to move upstairs and Ricky to take over as manager, and to bring his own people in! Spencer has an eye for new talent, but has never played at anywhere near the top level of non-league football, so I think he needs to step aside and move upstairs. Appreciate all he has done to put the club on a level footing, but he should let someone else manage, and protect his investment.

Possibly soft but based on the Jordan second yellow and their freekick as you say, fair shout.

If something isn't quite right, ship out and buy fresh. It feels like there isn't the consideration to change formation or tactics. There's the odd move, only one up top, three at the back, but it's not a tactical change really. Several interviews digging out the players publicly is passing the buck. Yes he said he picked the team but thats the minimum he does. Feels a bit churlish to be going too mad regardless of some seeming to be getting way too upset and expressing that in pretty shamful ways and then making excuses. And others who have way too high ideals for this club and that we should be getting promoted this season. But that's the entitlement of the average football fan it seems, and then the cretins start fighting. We can never have anything nice
